Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan responded to criticism from former president Levon Ter-Petrosyan, who accused him of destabilizing the country and dividing society.

In a social media post, Pashinyan urged Ter-Petrosyan to “calm down and enjoy the peaceful life” established in Armenia.

“In 1996 you ran away from election results, in 1998 – from power, in 2008 – from the opposition. I understand you want to leave now too, but there is nowhere left to run,” Pashinyan wrote.
