Key Hamas operative killed in Gaza

The Israeli army and Shin Bet security service have killed a key Hamas operative, Hazem Avni Naim, in the Gaza area, the IDF said.
According to the army, Naim was involved in holding hostages Emily Damari, Romi Gonen and Naama Levy, who were freed in January this year.
Naim held several positions within the group, including serving as a senior intelligence operative in the Gaza brigade, and was close to the current head of Hamas’s military wing in the enclave, Izz ad-Din al-Haddad.
