Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan harshly condemned Israel’s strike on a Hamas negotiating delegation in Qatar, calling it a violation of international law and Qatari sovereignty.

In a statement on social media platform X, Erdogan said the attack “once again showed that Netanyahu’s blinded government seeks to deepen conflict and instability.” He stressed that Turkey fully supports the Palestinian people as well as its ally and strategic partner Qatar.

“We will maintain our firm and determined stance in the face of Israel’s banditry, which aims to plunge the entire region into disaster, and will continue to defend peace, international law and the freedom of the Palestinian people at all costs,” Erdogan added.
