Zuckerberg and Altman seek closer ties with Trump after rift with Musk

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman have sought to strengthen their contacts with the White House following U.S. President Donald Trump’s fallout with SpaceX founder Elon Musk earlier this year, the Financial Times reported.
The paper said both executives privately approached the administration for support to expand their business opportunities.
At a recent White House dinner, Zuckerberg was seated to Trump’s right, while Altman observed from across the table. Still, neither holds the level of influence Musk once had, the FT said.
