Moscow says Europe is preparing for war with Russia

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said that European Union countries are preparing for a potential military confrontation with Russia.
“This is a clear course toward military confrontation with Russia and, in general, preparation for an armed clash, judging by the nature of military activity and planning taking place there,” Grushko told reporters, commenting on the growing number of NATO exercises on the alliance’s eastern flank.
He added that such intensified military activity indicates the EU’s intention to strengthen its military presence near Russia’s borders.
