Tehran comments on resuming nuclear program

Iran does not plan to return to talks on its nuclear program for now, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said.
According to him, the European “trio” — the United Kingdom, France, and Germany — “abused the dispute settlement mechanism” of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to advance U.S. interests at the UN Security Council.
Baghaei stressed that the actions of these countries in recent months have been “irresponsible and destructive.” At the same time, Iran remains open to dialogue with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and has reached an understanding on creating a new cooperation mechanism.
