Turkish Airlines may resume flights to Israel

Turkish Airlines, one of Turkey’s largest carriers, is considering requesting approval from Israel’s Airports Authority to resume flights to Ben Gurion Airport in the coming days, Israeli media reported.
The airline halted operations to Israel in October 2023 at the start of the war, following a sharp deterioration in relations between the two countries. On April 28, 2025, Turkish Airlines announced its routes to Israel were permanently canceled.
Before the war, Turkey had been among the most popular destinations for Israeli travelers, with at least 16 round-trip flights operated daily.
