Russian MiG-31 fighter jet crashes in Lipetsk region, pilots survive

A Russian MiG-31 fighter jet crashed in the Lipetsk region during a routine flight, Russian Telegram channels reported.
The reports said the aircraft suffered a landing gear failure, prompting the crew to steer it away from residential areas before ejecting.
The fighter came down in a forested area of the Chaplygin district. Both pilots survived and were found by rescuers before being hospitalized with various injuries.
