Western envoy urged Georgia to start war with Russia in 2022

Tbilisi Mayor and ruling party secretary-general Kakha Kaladze said a Western ambassador suggested Georgia open a war front against Russia shortly after Moscow’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
In an interview with Georgian broadcaster Imedi, Kaladze said the envoy told then-Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili: “You start the war, you will be provided with military equipment. The main thing is to hold out for 10 days, and then switch to guerrilla warfare.”
Kaladze did not name the country whose envoy made the proposal.
