Iran confirms death of IRGC colonel Saharabi

Iranian media reported that IRGC Colonel Mohammad Saharabi died from severe wounds sustained during the 12-day war between Iran and Israel.
According to reports, Saharabi was critically injured in combat and, despite medical efforts, could not be saved.
The war erupted on June 13, 2025, when Israel launched airstrikes on Iranian nuclear and military sites. A ceasefire was declared on June 24 after heavy fighting and diplomatic pressure from the U.S., Qatar and Turkey. Iranian officials said 935 people were killed, while Israel reported 28 fatalities.
