Rubio says U.S. drafting peace proposals reflecting both Russian and Ukrainian positions
The U.S. administration is preparing proposals to help resolve the Russia–Ukraine war, taking into account the positions of both Moscow and Kyiv, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a social media post.
“Any settlement requires a serious and substantive exchange of ideas. Achieving a lasting peace will demand difficult but necessary compromises from both sides,” Rubio wrote.
He said Washington is compiling — and will continue to develop — a list of potential proposals based on information received from both parties to the conflict.
