Iran’s Pezeshkian warns of war if supreme leader is targeted
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said any attempt on the life of the country’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei would amount to the start of a war.
In a post on social media platform X, Pezeshkian warned governments of hostile countries against taking action against Iran’s leadership.
“An attack on the Supreme Leader of our country would be tantamount to a total war against the Iranian nation,” he wrote.
