The weirdest sites on earth seen from space

The weirdest sites on earth seen from space
29.05.2020 09:50
From all around the world, these images show some of the weird and wonderful man-made and natural structures that can only properly be understood when they are seen from space.

They include lines in the desert, bizarrely shaped forests, massive military installations and others such as the word's largest swimming pool in Chile and a system of greenhouses in Spain as large as the Isle of Wight.

Also included are some of the unintended consequences of man's effect on the planet like clouds of smog billowing from Chinese cities or wonders of nature like the world's largest beaver dam in Canada.

Answer: Seaweed farms in South Korea

NASA has just recently published these bizarre pictures which show black lines radiating off islands near the South Korean mainland.

The shallow waters around Sisan Island actually contain seaweed which is kept in place using ropes and buoys and is tended at low tide.
