Armenia and the UK will strengthen cooperation in various areas in the coming years, according to the statement adopted following the results of the first meeting of the Strategic Dialogue between Armenia and the UK in London, reported from Armenian media.

The UK will help digitize and modernize public services in Armenia and improve gender equality in the police.

Yerevan and London will continue cooperation in the defense sector. Particularly, it is about teaching English to employees of the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, etc.

The parties expect to hold the sixth round of negotiations between the General Staffs of Armenia and the UK at the end of this month.
