Yermak, Sullivan mull strengthening Ukraine’s air defense system

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, and the US National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, during a telephone conversation have discussed the current situation at the front, as well as the issue of strengthening the air defense system, reported from RBC-Ukraine.

"Had a phone call with National Security Advisor to POTUS Jake Sullivan. Discussed the current situation at the frontline and the actions of Ukraine’s defense forces to repel the Russian invasion as well as the current needs of the Ukrainian army,” he wrote on X.

In addition, Sullivan congratulated the Ukrainian side on the decision of the leaders of the European Union to allocate macro-financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 50 billion euros under the Ukraine Facility program.

He noted that the US presidential administration is conducting an active dialogue with congressmen of both parties in order to reach agreement on the approval of financial assistance for Ukraine.
