Azerbaijan and Bulgaria to hold intergovernmental commission meeting in Sofia
 
            Azerbaijan and Bulgaria will hold the 7th meeting of their Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in Sofia on October 31 to discuss expanding cooperation across various sectors, Bulgarian media reported.
The commission is co-chaired by Azerbaijan’s Agriculture Minister Majnun Mammadov and Bulgaria’s Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov. The meeting will outline coordinated measures to deepen business ties in areas of mutual interest.
According to the report, the event will bring together representatives of agriculture, pharmaceuticals, food processing, textile, and equipment manufacturing industries, providing an opportunity to meet potential partners and build long-term cooperation.
Bulgaria has expressed interest in increasing natural gas imports from Azerbaijan and supporting the future expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor. A Bulgaria–Azerbaijan business forum will also be held in B2B format to promote bilateral trade and investment ties.
