Apple shares fall after iPhone launch event

Apple’s stock fell on Tuesday after the company unveiled new iPhones and other devices at its latest product launch.
Shares were down 1.37% at the close of the event and continued to slip in subsequent trading on Nasdaq.
Analysts said such swings are a typical market reaction to product launches and investor expectations.
Apple’s annual September event traditionally drives investor and consumer attention, but its stock has often dipped immediately after launches before recovering as sales figures emerge. In 2024, iPhone accounted for more than half of Apple’s total revenue.
