Trump says Iran will never get nuclear weapon, vows more oil supply

U.S. President Donald Trump criticised The Wall Street Journal for reporting that he had prematurely declared victory over Iran, saying his assessment was justified.

“The Wall Street Journal, one of the worst and most inaccurate editorial boards in the world, said I ‘prematurely declared victory in Iran.’ In fact, it is a victory, and there is nothing premature about it,” Trump said on Truth Social.

He added that Iran would never obtain nuclear weapons under his watch.

“Because of me, IRAN WILL NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON,” he said, adding that oil would soon start flowing to the market “with or without Iran.”

Trump also said the newspaper would eventually retract its claims, accusing it of frequent criticism and failing to admit mistakes.
