Storm in southern Turkey kills one, injures dozens
A powerful storm hit southern Turkey, killing one person and injuring dozens in Gaziantep and Sanliurfa provinces.
One person was killed in Sanliurfa, while 23 people were injured in Gaziantep.
The storm caused the Alleben River to overflow in Gaziantep, ripped roofs from buildings and damaged vehicles in the Oguzeli district.
Authorities declared a state of emergency in Gaziantep. Classes were suspended for one day on May 4 at 39 damaged schools in several districts.
