Bitcoin falls below $60,000

Bitcoin fell below the $60,000 mark as investor appetite for risk assets weakened and outflows from cryptocurrency investment funds continued.

The world’s largest cryptocurrency dropped to levels not seen since late 2024 as market participants assessed the outlook for U.S. interest rates and broader financial market conditions.

Investors are also monitoring flows into and out of bitcoin exchange-traded funds as well as sentiment across digital asset markets.
