Pakistan informs UN Security Council of Indian attack – foreign ministry

Pakistan has informed the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) of what it described as an attack by India, a spokesperson for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday, according to Geo TV.
The information was submitted by Pakistan’s permanent representative to the UN, the official said.
“Pakistan reserves the right to respond to Indian aggression at a time and in a manner of its choosing,” the spokesperson added.
Earlier, Pakistani authorities reported that Indian air strikes targeted civilian infrastructure inside Pakistan, killing at least eight people and wounding 35 others.
In response, Pakistani media said the country’s air force downed five Indian fighter jets and struck Indian military infrastructure along the Line of Control in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, including the headquarters of the Indian Army’s 12th Infantry Brigade of the 9th Division.
Footage has also surfaced reportedly showing Indian troops raising a white flag at the Chora military complex near the Line of Control.
