Cyberattack hits Aeroflot IT systems, cancels dozens of flights – Russian officials

Russia’s flagship airline Aeroflot suffered a massive IT systems failure on Monday, disrupting operations and prompting dozens of flight cancellations.
Hacker groups claimed responsibility for a year-long cyberattack that reportedly destroyed 7,000 servers and stole over 20 terabytes of data.
The transport ministry said passengers were being rebooked on flights operated by Rossiya and Pobeda.
Aeroflot urged travelers not to come to Sheremetyevo Airport.
The disruption follows a series of aviation shutdowns linked to drone threats since May.
