Pashinyan and Macron discuss outcomes of Washington talks

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron, during which he shared the outcomes of his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington on August 8.
According to the Armenian Prime Minister's press service, Pashinyan informed Macron about the key results of the talks, including the initialing of the "Agreement on Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan," a joint appeal to the OSCE for the dissolution of the Minsk Group mechanisms, and discussions on the unblocking of regional communications based on the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction, and mutuality. The “Trump Route” for international peace and prosperity was also discussed.
Pashinyan emphasized that the established peace opens up new investment opportunities not only for Armenia but for the entire South Caucasus region.
