Thunderstorms, rain, and even snow: forecasters warn of unstable weather

On Tuesday, May 14, brief showers and thunderstorms are expected in some parts of Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service. Cloud cover will vary, with mostly dry weather, but occasional overcast conditions are likely. A northwesterly wind will intensify at times in the morning.
Temperatures in Baku will range from 14–18°C at night to 18–20°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 750 to 760 mmHg, and relative humidity will be 70–75% at night and 60–65% during the day.
In other regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are expected, with heavy downpours and hail possible in some areas. Wet snow may fall in high-altitude zones. Fog is also forecasted in certain locations. Westerly winds will occasionally strengthen.
Temperatures in the regions will range from 12–17°C at night to 20–25°C during the day. In the mountains, temperatures will drop to 3–7°C at night and rise to 10–15°C during the day.
