Armenia Airways barred from operating flights for six months

Armenia Airways has been suspended from conducting flight operations for a period of six months, local media reported on Thursday, citing the country’s Civil Aviation Committee.
No official reason for the suspension was disclosed, but the decision effectively grounds the airline until at least November 2025. The Civil Aviation Committee has not issued a public comment as of yet.
Armenia Airways, a relatively small carrier operating regional routes, has faced increasing regulatory scrutiny in recent months, according to aviation sources.
