This grandmother from China has proven to the world that it's never too late to get in shape, spending every afternoon training in her local neighborhood basketball court for the last three years.

80-year-old Li Guochuan has become a local and international sensation since she was spotted and posted on the internet as the 'basketball granny'.The OAP from Fuzhou, in the Fujian Province of China, does 150 push-ups, 150 sit-ups every day, all on top of a rousing game of basketball.The 80-year-old told Chinese-language news outlet China News Service that she is a restless person that just loves exercising.She said: 'I do 150 push-ups in the morning and 150 sit-ups in the evening. I complete them in three sets and take a little rest in between.'It usually takes me 20 minutes to do the whole 150 reps on each exercise.'According to Li, it took her three years of doing push ups to reach her current level, and she is working on her chin-ups to get them to the same standard.She moved to Fuzhou with her son three years ago, and has exercised at the local basketball court ever since.While she is incredibly fond of sports, and often challenges younger people to games of badminton, she admits it has been a long road to getting so limber.She said: 'Each afternoon I only would only finish the basketball sport after I shot into the basket 72 times.'I love sports. And from three years ago I started to do push-ups and play basketball. Initially I could only do five or 10 push-ups each time, but I now can do 150 push-ups.'(dailymail.co.uk)ANN.Az
