3D crocodile ad for National Geographic in Brazil

This terrifying National Geographic advert of a 3D crocodile is proving too realistic for comfort.

The optical illusion, which looks as though the sharp-toothed beast is ready to launch itself out of the water, has been scaring commuters travelling down an escalator in Brazil. It's part of a campaign for 'Mundo Salvagem de Richard Rasmussen' - translating to: ‘Ready for an adventure through the Brazilian forests? Wild world with Richard Rasmussen.'The advert was posted to Reddit by user SAT0725, generating hundreds of comments, including 'I'll just take the stairs', 'As if getting off of an escalator isn't terrifying enough as it is', and 'Why? Why would you do that do innocent people? Oh...because it's funny'.The same Reddit user also drew attention to this graphic American Disability Association advertisement. Using an image of mountains on a flight of stairs, the campaign aimed to raise awareness of places that are not wheelchair accessible. It ran with the tagline: 'For some, it’s Mt. Everest. Help build more handicap facilities.'(dailymail.co.uk)ANN.Az
