Azerbaijan is concerned about the escalation of tensions between Turkey and Russia, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said.
"Azerbaijan is holding talks with officials of both countries on this issue. We believe that this issue will soon be resolved. I hope that this confrontation will not have a negative impact on countries of the region. We have a strategic partnership with Turkey, and close relations with Russia," Mammadyarov said, according to APA news agency.
