Azerbaijan foils attack on Israeli embassy in Baku

Azerbaijani security forces arrested a man armed with a gun who planned to carry out an attack on the Israeli Embassy in the capital Baku on November 17 morning, reported from The Jerusalem Post and Ynet.
Security services in Azerbaijan issued a statement that they arrested the man near the embassy building, and he was planning to harm the embassy employees.
He was remanded for four months.
This is the second security situation involving an Israeli embassy abroad this week after a car crashed into a barricade near the entrance of the Israeli embassy in Tokyo on November 16 and a man in his 50s was detained on the spot.
