Azerbaijan hails coop with France in space industry, nuclear research

Ali Abbasov, the Azerbaijani minister of communications and high technologies, has met a delegation led by Matthias Fekl, the French minister of state for foreign trade, in Baku.
According to Azerbaijan’s state news agency Azartac, Abbasov spoke about the "successful development” of Azeri-French relations in various fields, including the space industry and nuclear research.
The minister noted the "active participation” of French companies in the launch of Azerbaijan’s first telecommunications satellite Azerspace-1.
The French minister, for his part, congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the "excellent organization” of the first European Games held in Baku last month.
