Azerbaijan produced more marketable natural gas and less crude oil in Jan.-Aug. year-on-year, the State Statistics Committee said.

Gas production during the period rose to 12.3 billion cubic meters from 11.7 billion cubic meters a year earlier, the committee said on its website.

Oil output fell to 28.6 million tons from 29.1 million tons.
