Azerbaijan sees sevenfold increase in state budget surplus

The income of the state budget of Azerbaijan in January-July of 2022 made up 17.899 billion manats ($10.53 billion), and expenditure stood at 15.334 billion manats ($9.02 billion), respectively, up 27.4% and 12.1% from a year earlier.

Consequently, the surplus amounted to 2.564 billion manats ($1.51 billion), sevenfold more than the previous year.
