12 Azerbaijani soldiers were martyred fighting the enemy

According to the statement, Azerbaijani armed forces, in order to protect Horadiz city from the enemy, have also taken control of the strategic Lele tepe height, which is located in the Fuzuli district direction and overlooks a vast area.
"Necessary actions are underway to strengthen those heights and the new defense line, new trenches are being dug, and the positions are being fortified,” said the statement.
"During the fighting, 6 tanks, up to 15 pieces of artillery equipment and fortified engineering installations of Armenian armed forces were destroyed. More than a hundred Armenian military servicemen were killed and wounded. 12 Azerbaijani soldiers were martyred fighting the enemy. While carrying out strikes on Armenian positions, a MIG-24 helicopter was downed by the enemy and a tank was destroyed in a landmine blast. The Defense Ministry extends condolences to the families and close ones of the soldiers martyred in the fight against the enemy.
