Azerbaijan’s Jan-Feb gas exports up, oil deliveries down

Azerbaijan exported 5.4 million tons of crude oil in the first two months of 2014, down from 5.6 million tons year-on-year, according to the State Customs Committee.

Gas exports grew in the same period to 1.7 billion cubic meters from 1.4 billion cubic meters.

Deliveries via the Baku-Ceyhan-Tbilisi (BTC) main export pipeline declined to 4.3 million tons from 4.5 million tons. 

The Baku-Supsa link shipped 713,803 tons, up fom 712,702 tons. 

The Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline carried 209,452 tons, down from 249,601 tons.

Azerbaijan also exported 156,628 tons by rail, up from 142,974 tons.
