According to the official report, the economic situation in Azerbaijan, measures aimed at eliminating and preventing unemployment, reforms in tax and customs areas, as well as the possibility of cooperation in the agricultural sector were discussed during the meeting.
The two discussed the expansion of cooperation in the energy sector and the activities of US companies in Azerbaijan.
On the same day, Aliyev met a group of congressmen and discussed cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, energy and defence spheres.
