Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister Col-Gen Zakir Hasanov has met his Russian counterpart, Army Gen Sergey Shoygu, on the sidelines of "International military games-2015” held in Russia.
Hasanov and Shoygu had an exchange of views on issues of regional security and military cooperation between the two countries, the Russian Defense Ministry said on its website, without giving any detail.
Russia is the largest arms supplier to Azerbaijan, which also produces its own weapons and exports from a number of other countries including Israel, Turkey and the South African Republic.
