Baku 2015 volunteer uniform unveiled at Flamekeeper orientation event with the support of Nar Mobile

European Games Volunteers training Program was launched

The Heydar Aliyev Sports Arena that will be one of the venues of the Baku 2015 European Games has hosted the event demonstrating uniforms of participants of the Flamekeepers Volunteers Program supported by Nar Mobile. The design of European Games technical officials’ uniforms was also unveiled by the Baku 2015 European Games Operations Committee during the presentation ceremony. This event which came as a part of the Flamekeepers orientation session  and brought together over 4000 volunteers, was also the official start of training program and other activities to be carried out on the eve of the opening ceremony of the Baku 2015 European Games.

Addressing the volunteers, Mr. Azad Rahimov, Chief Executive Officer of the Baku 2015 European Games Operations Committee and Minister of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan said: "Your participation in the Flamekeepers program will help to give Europe’s sportsmen and women the perfect stage on which to shine. Thanks to your enthusiasm, sincerity and determination, you will also assist to raise the mood during the Games”.

The short film demonstrating the production of 110,000 uniforms in Azerbaijan was shown to the participants.

Delivering a speech at this event, Mr. Simon Clegg, Chief Operating Officer of Baku 2015 European Games Operations Committee noted: "The Flamekeepers are part of what will make the first European Games so special. I was delighted to see their enthusiasm on display tonight, and am certain that Baku 2015 volunteers will take this passion with them to the Games, and wear their Flamekeeper uniform with pride. Their role as the face of Baku 2015 will be critical to the success of the event”.

Speaking also at the ceremony, Mr. Kent McNeley, Chief Executive Officer of Nar Mobile said; "We are incredibly proud to be an Official Partner of the Baku 2015 European Games and supporters of the Flamekeeper program. It should be noted that besides the official uniforms, flamekeeper volunteers will be offered a free Nar Mobile Sim card, one month long free tariff, food and drinks in working hours, shuttle buses, certificates and several other encouraging gifts. Sim cards given to flamekeepers at the interview process will ease the communication between themselves at the Baku 2015 venues during the Games. This program will also offer for volunteers.
