SOCAR cuts oil, natural gas output in first seven months of 2015

Azerbaijan’s state energy company SOCAR produced less crude oil and natural gas in the first seven months of 2015 year on year.
The company pumped 4.8 million tons of oil in the January-July period, down from 4.9 million tons a year earlier, according to data published on SOCAR’s website.
Production of natural gas fell to 3.98 billion cubic meters from 4.40 billion cubic meters.
SOCAR gave no reason for the output declines.
