Royal Caribbean's newest ship, Quantum of the Seas, will launch with an epic 53-day journey taking its passengers from the USA all the way to China in 2015. Launching on May 2, 2015, out of the New York area, the voyage will cross the Atlantic Ocean on the way to the Mediterranean then through the Suez Canal on to the Persian Gulf, Indian Ocean, and Asia. The 4,180-passenger ship will visit almost two dozen ports including stops in Barcelona; Aqaba, Jodan; Dubai; Cochin, India; Muscat, Oman; Penang, Malaysia; Singapore; and Hong Kong. The schedule was announced shortly after the cruise line, which already boasts zip lines, real trees, boxing rings and the world's first sea bound amphitheatre on board its ships, revealed it was launching the North Star: a jewel-shaped, glass capsule, transporting guests more than 300 feet above the ocean. The bubble-like structure, which was inspired by the London Eye, will feature on Quantum of the Seas and will give those brave enough to be hoisted high above the ocean incredible 360-degree views. It will lift as many as 13 guests at a time. The attraction is one of several new features on board Quantum of the Seas, which is set to launch on November 23.Other new features, which will be free to all passengers, include The Sea-Plex, the largest indoor sports and entertainment complex at sea with bumper cars, a simulated skydiving experience, a version of the line's popular FlowRider surfing simulator, and 'virtual balconies' - video screens that provide streaming views of the ship's surroundings to interior cabins. The Quantum of the Seas will also have Jamie's Italian restaurants, new 'family connected' staterooms are designed to offer more flexibility for multi-generational travel and 'studio' staterooms, especially for single travelers. The 1,141-foot-long  16-decked ship will have capacity to carry 4,180 guests and will travel to the Caribbean from the New York City area.(dailymail.co.uk)Bakudaily.az
