ADB to lend $610 million to Azerbaijan by 2017

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) plans to allocate $610 million to Azerbaijan between 2014 and 2016, the bank said.

ADB has approved a business plan for operations in Azerbaijan between 2014 and 2016. In the three-year period, the bank will allocate loans for transport, water supply and sewage and environmental work with alternative energy sources and waste management projects.

ADB also plans to provide $5.5 million in technical aid in 2014-2016.
