Azerbaijan to shift to Euro 3 fuel standard in January

Azerbaijanplans to shift to the Euro 3 standard on the quality of fuel on January 1, saidRamiz Hasanov, head of the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology andPatents.

This maylead to an “insignificant” rise in fuel prices, Hasanov told reporters today inBaku, the capital.

Goodenvironment and human health are more important than fuel prices, he added.
