Azeri Tariff Council says no price rise under discussion

Azerbaijan’s Tariff Council has denied reports it’s going to increase prices of petrol, gas, power and water.
Any price rise is not under discussion at the moment, the council said.

A remark by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov earlier this week fueled speciation that the government may be planning to increase the prices in January.

"Everything is possible,” the minister said in parliament, adding that it’s up to the Tariff Council to decide.
