BTC exports less Azeri oil, more Turkmen crude in January

The BP-led Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline delivered 2.4 million tons of Azeri crude last month, down from 2.57 million tons a year earlier.

The link also shipped 250,462 tons of Turkmen oil, up from 196,447 tons, Azerbaijan’s state oil company Socar said on its website.

BTC resumed the delivery of Kazakh oil, shipping 238,399 tons in January.

Partners in the 1,768-km pipeline project also include Statoil, Chevron,  Total, Eni, TPAO, Itochu, Inpex, ConocoPhillips and ONGC Videsh.
