Honored artist of Azerbaijan Ismayil Mammadov dies

Honored artist of Azerbaijan Ismayil Mammadov has died aged 68.
People’s artist Arif Huseynov told APA that he died after a long illness on Dec.11. He will be buried in Baku.
The artist was born in Baku on March 31, 1948. He graduated from I. Repin St. Petersburg State Academy Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
He has been senior artist of Azerbaijan State Theatre of Musical Comedy since 1998.
Ismayil Mammadov was awarded the title of "Honored artist” on May 30, 2002.
