Heavy rain is expected in Azerbaijan on Friday

Heavy showers are expected in Baku and across the Absheron Peninsula on Friday, the National Hydrometeorology Service said.

Moderate southeast winds are forecast. Nighttime temperatures will range from 8 to 10 degrees Celsius, rising to 11–14 degrees during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be around 769 mmHg, with humidity at 80–90%.

Across the regions, rain is also expected, with heavy showers likely in the eastern districts. Precipitation is expected to ease toward morning, and fog may form in some areas. Temperatures will range from 5–10 degrees at night to 14–17 degrees during the day. In the mountain regions, temperatures will drop to 0–5 degrees below zero at night and rise to 4–9 degrees during the day.
