Rain expected in Azerbaijan, snow forecast in mountainous areas

Rain is expected across Azerbaijan on Tuesday, with snow forecast in mountainous areas, the National Hydrometeorological Service said.

In Baku and on the Absheron peninsula, weather conditions are expected to remain mostly dry, although light rain is possible in some areas overnight and in the morning. A north-easterly wind is forecast. Air temperatures will range from 3–5 degrees Celsius at night to 6–9 degrees during the day.

Atmospheric pressure is expected to fall from 767 to 763 millimetres confirmed, while relative humidity will stand at 70–80%.

In the regions, precipitation is forecast, with heavy rain in some areas and snow in the mountains. Temperatures will range from 1–4 degrees Celsius at night to 7–10 degrees during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will fall to minus 3–8 degrees at night and rise to 2–6 degrees during the day.
