Azerbaijani lawmaker warns of prolonged information warfare amid regional tensions

 Azerbaijani lawmaker Siyavush Novruzov said ongoing regional events suggest that information wars are likely to be prolonged, highlighting the importance of accurate and timely communication.

Novruzov noted that tensions in the Middle East are unlikely to ease in the short term, making the proper management of information flow crucial.

He added that even routine drone flights can cause public panic if information is misreported or spread inaccurately, which is undesirable.

The lawmaker stressed the need to provide citizens with precise and prompt information to prevent misinformation and its negative effects.
