Pezeshkian says ready to ‘sacrifice’ for Iran

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian says, “More than 14 million brave Iranians have so far declared their readiness to sacrifice their lives to defend Iran” 

“I have also sacrificed my life for Iran, I am and I will continue to do so,” he wrote on X.Israel has carried out several high-profile assassinations since the war started on February 24, including that of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and Ali Larijani, the powerful secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.

At least 2,076 people have been killed in Iran and 26,500 wounded.
