Students Without Final Academic Evaluation Ineligible for School Diplomas — Deputy Minister

Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Gurbanov clarified the regulatory conditions governing the issuance of graduation diplomas (attestats) to 10th and 11th-grade students failing to comply with mandatory uniform standards or exhibiting persistent absenteeism.
Speaking in an interview with APA, the deputy minister specified that student assessments and final certifications are legally codified by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 498 dated December 12, 2016: "A student whose knowledge has not been evaluated, regardless of the underlying reason, is not issued a general or complete secondary education certificate."
