Azerbaijan to have three consecutive days off for Victory Day
30.04.2026 09:30

Azerbaijan will have three consecutive non-working days this year in connection with Victory Day over Fascism, marked on May 9.

In 2026, May 9 falls on a Saturday. Under the Labour Code, if a day off coincides with a public holiday, the day off is transferred to the next working day after the holiday.

Since May 10 falls on a Sunday, May 11 will also be a non-working day.

As a result, May 9, 10 and 11 will be consecutive days off in Azerbaijan.
